Only genius arguments on this board.

Fairy shouldn't have resisted bug. Completely uncalled for change. The only positive meta change fairy made was being a very heavyhanded amateurish nerf to dragon and an alright buff to poison. Otherwise than that it actually just made the already strong types better and weak types weaker. You're not gonna tell me that fucking steel desperately needed to hit SE against one more thing while bug needed to resisted by one more thing and also fire totally needs to be a strong defensive type for some reason.

Saying anyone believes ice is bad is a total falseflag btw.

I assume GF did that because of U-Turn, and failed to realize why people use U-Turn in the first place.

And maybe restat a bunch of fully evolved bug types. The game has changed far too much to have weak mons be weak for the sake of being weak, especially when the same type has Pokémon like Scyther, Heracross, and Pinsir etc.

Like, the early route bugs can all be optimized the same way mega beedrill was. Butterfree has a 45 attack stat? Reduce it to 15 and slap that extra 30 points into defense. when I as a kid I thought bugs were supposed to be tough because they had exoskeletons

I feel like a lot of the reason people think of ice types as weak is just the amount of bulky ice type shitmons. The only ice type glass canons I can think of are Galar-Darmanitan and Chien-Pao and both of them got banned.

Fairy and bug should be SE against each other for the same reason fighting and bug resist each other.

Bug is too small to hurt big muscle man, but too evasive to be hit by big muscle man. So they resists each other.
Bugs and fairies are both tiny, so they should be effective against each other.
