>>58733534write out higher level plot points, add subplot points I'm interested in writing, add sub details, write small sections to see how it feels. Avoid writing an introduction at first, a first chapter, write a later chapter like chp3 or chp4 first so you can backfill later.
If you have multiple PoVs, write out who they are and bullet points concepts/ideas you want to touch on. "Is this person internally arrogantly giving a view of why they act the way they do? Maybe they have deep beliefs and are invested, maybe they don't care"
If someone cool sticks out to you, add it to a "would be cool to have" bucket, you may end up with weird one off things you thought were decent in the moment. If they stay cool at a later look, expand them.
finally unify something into a coherent flow. 10 chapters of writing is a good threshold, lets say (2k-4k word chapters). Do that, and you have something solid. Additionally, use AI tools to review things first, it often catches minor grammar things, and rewrite paragraphs and wording if you care to.
Do that and you have a solid story to work with eventually.
