I'll put it this way, the legendary beasts are not good pokemon, yet because they at least have a cool majesty to them. Their designs alow them to be highly dynamic even if you dont like the design. The swords are ugly malformed freaks with stumpy limbs and lack that majestic air other legendary pokemon have. Basically the whole, we design a pokemon, then add a dumb feature to it to keep it from being too cool.
Except Virizion. It's head is a little weird at some angles but it's sleek body frees it from the struggles of the other two for the most part.
