>>58711771They are all extremely good (in gen 5 at least) in competitive. However, they're also good in very interesting ways instead of just raw stats.
Prankster Thunder Wave is op as is Tailwind, but imo, that makes for interesting gameplay in doubles, even if Thundurus was very oppressive originally. Landorus is interesting as outside of Arceus, it's the only Ground type that's both fast and an excellent special attacker (well until gen 9). That makes it very cool, because most answers to Ground type attacks besides immunities are typically only prepared to deal with physical attacks. Add in Sludge Wave, Focus Blast, Extrasensory, and even a lesser invested Rock Slide and you have a pokemon that is very unlike anything else. Enamorus is also quite interesting as you really can't tell what it's going to be doing until it switches in. Calm Mind with Cute Charm or Super Power with Contrary play very different from each other and are both pretty viable.
This isn't even getting to the Therian forms. Landorus-T alone is a good canidate for being the most interesting pokemon ever created competitively and would deserve an entire thread dedicated to it, which I'm unable to do.
