>>58715570>Do you think people dislike DLC being revealed before a game is out simply because, and it has no relation to the company being greedy?Except we know for a fact that's not why. Yes, corporations greedy, big surprise, but the internet collectively chose to lose their shit in utter shock and surprise at like, the one situation where it doesnt apply.
We know, for a fact via the teraleak, that the game was supposed to be out way earlier (this time last year iirc), with the DLC coming later.
It's a rare case where we know the pipeline, and we know DLC wasn't finished at the time of the teraleak, and we know the base game was basically finished, so we know it wasn't "cut out".
Literally all that people were pissed about was "optics" of the announcement timing, which is shallow and meaningless. Extra daft considering that announcing DLC prior to a games launch is industry standard.
>"b-b-but its bad when others do it too!"Just backpedaling.
I know it is, because all of these kids dont complain about it elsewhere until its brought up. I didnt hear a fuckin PEEP about Digimon doing the same thing (but worse).
The real issue is not that youre ACTUALLY pissed about the DLC being announced earlier, its that you read some article that told you to be pissed, and adopted that as an opinion. Idgaf about what GF is doing one way or the other, I find this rhetoric dumb for how transparently naive it is, how easily influenceable the masses opinions are.
