I think gen 8 being considered not a "real" Pokémon game just because you can't transfer all the Pokémon over is a stupid and juvenile argument. I don't think it's not an important feature, I understand if people think it's a dealbreaker, I even think the game is significantly worse because of the lack of that feature, but saying it's a significant drop in quality compared to ALL previous games off just that point alone is frankly disingenuous.
