Golisopod is one of those mons that was always going to be hard to give a mega too because its design already basically looks like a Mega, turning it into a Droideka is strange but hardly lazy, and better than the 20 nightmare scenarios I had assumed it would get based on the fact the design had no more room to shove anything in.

I have heard several anons suggest a third ability in the same vein, except this one would switch out at the END of the turn, so you can always use your moves that turn. That would be a massive upgrade and make the ability quite useful.
