You had pre-made rentals in this game. They were absolute dog shit. Stadium 1 and 2 are leagues better then this.

It was great, but people were hoping for something more like Colosseum with a story mode or even minigames like the Stadium games. The negative opinions were largely about the game not being more. What it actually had was sweet.

I liked how they got the narrator from the anime to do the narration in this game. It was a nice little bit of nostalgia.

Looking at the backgrounds for both, it's amazing how clear a picture it paints. The bottom's backgrounds are blurry and textures look like ass, and the lighting doesn't blend well. The top's looks better, even the floor looks better, and is trying to fit its own style. Also there are actual shadows while the bottom has X shadows. I get they're trying to show all the lights are shining on the battle itself, but it still looks dreadful.
