The posts that keep them eternally bumped are /pol/ copypasta spam, and are thus deleted and banned by the mods. And the schizo behind the bot then evades the ban and does it again. So those threads can have an infinite amount of posts bumping them, and the threads can theoretically stay on the board forever since bump limit is never actually reached.
Since banning doesn't seem to work, the obvious solutions are to implement autosage wordfilters for several keywords the copypastas use that are otherwise never used on the board, have the mods autosage the threads themselves (or delete them), or manually push them to bump limit to force them to autosage. The first two will obviously never happen because they require the mods to actually do work, so the last one is the only option we reasonably have.
If you want the threads gone, push them to bump limit so the bot can't bump them anymore.
