I genuinely didn't think it possible. Until today they looked to me like something AI shat out.
Y's horns still look like shit to me but X had my whole heart once I saw it fly in a superhero pose.
I haven't played the games because they look like shit and most of the megas look like shit but that Mega Raichu X fucker got to me

I only like shiny mega X because it's the only one that looks like a proper Raichu mega; with the colour palette fixed, I can let the thunderbolt tails slide, the rest of them go die in a ditch

I always kinda like X and always kinda didn't like Y. My feelings have grown stronger both ways. I prefer the shiny X and the normal Y. Seeing them altogether makes me wish the normal X color was red, or darker orange...could've been a fun gradient from red-orange (X) to orange (shiny X) to yellow-orange (Y) to yellow (shiny Y).
