>>58723342it seriously reminds me of when you're just trying to get something done as fast as possible and you don't give a shit about what anyone thinks, but you also know people will like it no matter what.
I actually had experience with this as a kid making shitty animations on youtube about some game, but almost no one else that played the game even knew how to begin to make an animation, so it could just be complete shit and everyone would still love it.
and I had made animations from a young age before I ever started playing the game, so I just knew what I was doing and could go really fast and be lazy with shit.
so I just went as fast as possible just getting it done, taking as many shortcuts + not giving a fuck how it turned out and just continuing on even if I thought something looked like shit.
just doing the bare minimum because the standards/expectations were so low.
it just reminds me of that exactly, except it's for an overpriced product made by adults for a living instead of being made by 1 kid for free in his spare time.
and when people praised it I just laughed and thought... I really don't have to try.
because the people consuming it are little kids or ignorant and easily impressed.
if anyone else has been in any kind of similar situation then you get it.
if you haven't, then you just might not understand.
that's why I'm not impressed and it feels like I understand the headspace they're in.
they don't give a fuck and the end result shows.
they're probably smug and thinking they're getting away with something and think lowly of the people who eat this shit up.
