I have no doubt that if, for example, a single plush out of twelve pikachu plushies in the background of a promotional video by some unlikely mistake was fatchu instead of soulless-eating-disorder-mascot-chu that someone would be in trouble.
As is the case when any brand pushes out a new product, they want consumers, regardless of the new product's quality, to erase from their memory the old.
