Why would I waste my one-per-battle Mega on Pyroar when I can just use Torkoal like always, and have it compliment an even stronger Fire Mega like Heatran?

Because 2 slow fire types with overlapping weaknesses on the same team is redundant? Zard Y was one of the best megas in gen 7 and Torkoal wasn't used much
