I won't get into the who or why, but you can see it yourself especially on boards like /v/, its the same stupid shit regurgitated ad nauseum made to just barely be on-topic and lure people in to have pointless arguments. Worst part is newfags have and will continue to come in and think its the norm, and replicate the behavior. Best thing you can do is ignore them and contribute to threads with genuine discussion, mods won't do shit.
