Pokémon fans couldn't care less about Gigantamax, adding more of those is not going to make anyone buy a game.

The problem is not which gimmick is best GIMMICK WAR!!!, but the fanbase perception.
The fan base doesn't care about Gigantamax, it doesn't matter if you mom that fat bitch loves them, I might even agree with her that Gigantamax have cool designs, but it's not about my opinion either.

Man.....if Feraligatr was a Legends Galar starter instead of a ZA starter he probably would've gotten a Kino Kaiju GMax and Signature GMax Move, instead of a nightmare humiliation ritual Mega Evolution that will be a laughing stock in this series for years.

It didn't matter what gimmick it appeared alongside, it was ALWAYS going to receive a shitty form of it, due to not actually being fucking popular in Japan compared to totodile. And much like they made raichu look like Piakchu under mega, to make kids give a fuck about it, they similarly made feraligatr look like its infinitely more popular base stage, to shill it at tototards in Japan.

Typhlosion was perfect for the “just add more stuff” philosophy of the non-skibidi megas due to how simplistic it is and its never getting a mega because it happened to be a Legends starter already.
Why would Feraligatr get a second gimmick when it’s demonstratively less popular than typhlosion. Fuck, Sinnoh starters are long due since the entire fandom worships them yet they’ve gotten jack shit. Even the Hoenn starters who Game Freak sucks off aren’t allowed to get more than one gimmick because Only KANTOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO starters get to double dip on forms

The problem with G-Max was the fact that only limited battles used them in the main game, the typing didn't change so them getting a new design meant nothing, especially since non G-Max could still use Dynamax instead.
A Legends game with gameplay built around Kaijuu sized Pokemon that you'll have to beat would be fantastic. You could appreciate their design in the open world and using lots of Pokemon at once to bring them down could make them feel special too. I hope they don't even allow Dynamax in them, limit it to Gigantamax only Pokemon, it'll make them feel more special.
