Yeah, but many times they are shown as playful, or being nice. You aren't going to see an Ekans eating a Rattata, or a Taillow hunting Wurmples, or an Aggron breaking and devouring Gravelers. The Pokémon World is "safe", and Type: Null proves is all a facade.

Why, that's lame as fuck
If you want to justify a wild variant so much make so the pre evo can evolve into it, because that's effectively what the null restraint tried to achieve, but now in a natural environment it can suppress it powers till maturity with a real pre evo instead of a mask
