Yeah, latency in this game is wack, as are the hitboxes. I played some games today where I died it felt like several seconds after I was attacked. Also, don't feel too bad. I had to be harden by Xern spam with this team. I've been using it for a long time now and know the kind of stuff to look for.

From the games i’ve played the Z mega’s are hilariously op. Being able to get your moves out almost instantly makes them impossible to dodge and lets you kill people before they can get out their own moves. Not to mention you move so fast you can pretty much just run from whatever anyone tries to throw out. Yes you do burn through your mega much faster, but the trade-off is being able to get 5+ kills in that span of time

Static shiny Alphas aren't worth too much. Especially Amph since it wants to be as small as possible to stay out of EQ range.

I've already done all of the requests, but I need to evolve a couple more mons to finish out my DLC dex (and I have some extra haunters after that to round out the numbers for your request, since you only need to do 5 trade evos)

The DLC makes that challenge easy. The amount of times you get requests to "catch x mons" "catch x mons undetected" and "use the recovery window x times" (catch mons after knocking them out) means that you will finish off those quests pretty quickly.
It also helps that all of the evos in the base game are available to catch.
