>>58769030No, what matters is time until the next new Gen game (in case you missed it, since Gen 8 they've focused entirely on the new Gen pair for events, additions and battle comps). New Gen pairs get DLC (big content release to extend potential playtime) because there's 2-3 years until the next new game and because they're not as retarded as to try and sell a $60/70 rehash, like you monkeys WANTED. L: A got delayed until January, because they decided to make a Sinnoh remake after Game Freak stated they weren't wasting their lives on it. And as SV was revealed barely a month after L: A's release, there was no point to a big pervasive DLC (which again is a big content update to facilitate extending playtime of the game its associated with) for L: A, when Game Freak wanted people moving onto Gen 9. If you'd been paying attention to industry scuttlebutt, Switch 2 was supposed to go last year, that L: Z-A's marketing was so heavily tied to S2, that as soon as it was revealed they stopped showing S1 footage in trailers to subliminally market the upgrade version to causal markets, proves it was intended to launch with Switch 2 and as that was supposed to go last year, they created a DLC addition (again, big pervasive content addition to facilitate extending playtimes) so that the gap year we just had wouldn't have happened and the DLC would have launched this year instead of both coming in less than 7 weeks.
