>>58771963I was actually thinkning about how the Onix line could be fixed to at least be fun to use ingame. I'd shuffle the stats of steelix around a bit to make it slightly more capable on offense and then give Onix the reverse treatment of Scyther, so that it has the same BST as Steelix and just loses speed on evolutoin, while gaining attack and defense.
Also I'd give them acces to coil and maybe also even dragon dance or even gear shift in Steelixes case

This way Onix would still not even be busted in early game with an Eviolite but having sturdy setup up sweepers with stab EQ would probably be fun to use
