Giving Onix the base stats to be the land Gyarados that it was always meant to be. People need to put some respect on his name and to prevent Steelix from being overpowered make that evolution more like Scyther in that the bst stays the same, just rearranged.

i don't mind the sudden color change or the limbs/wings, but the eyes are what really make it look all herp derp for lack of a better term

But Gyarados actually has similar design elements as Magikarp, as does Dragonite with Dratini/Dragonair.

My favorite part about mega dragonite is how both gamefreak is clearly regret moving so far away from the absolute goat that is dragonair's design and added some features when mega evolving since it's the peak of the line lol
