yeah, giving a Pokemon a Mega without giving it fucking moves for it to use and then calling it a day. But enough about M-Dactyl needing to run Wing Attack, Gyarados not getting Crunch until ORAS, and how Ampharos and Sceptile still can't learn Draco Meteor. They learned their lesson and will never ever repeat this mista- oh wait Meganium has no good Fairy moves

Aside what you mentioned OP, I think turning Pokémon into "caveman" or "robots" were also lazier as well. Same with the color swap, too.

At least the "caveman" varients often change more than just "make it metallic and add glowy bits." Still lazy, but in a way that requires slightly more thought.
The Paradox names are the most egregious part. I kept thinking they were going to have actual names and that the "Iron ___" and "___ ___" would be placeholders like th UB codenames.
