Pokemon lost its SOUL on gen 8 and ONLY gen 8. Pokemon has always had a soul no matter how subpar the Pokemon games were, but Galar truly shows a lack of trying at all, Kanto pandering deserves to be clowned on.

Emerald-B2W2 was the second best time to be a Pokemon fan, behind Pokemania.
The moment the series jumped to 3D was the moment everything went to shit. It wasn't apparent right away, but by SwSh it was too much to handle.
