Stellar type is a great addition to the game. Terapagos was just a vehicle for introducing it to players. The base form was clearly designed for the anime.

Given that Legends Galar is happening, they're probably now designing gens with the intent that they'll be returned to like 5 years later in a Legends game
So just wait until 2030 for Legends Zero or whatever

It’s funny how Zygarde and Rayquaza in the anime were just the result of the writers not wanting to default to Reshiram/Zekrom for a white/black dragon duo, and then Gamefreak capitalized on it because it conveniently tied in to their plans to reintroduce megas.

Only by sheer technicality of the Tera Crystals it created, which are fucky in nature.
We've never seen Terapagos directly summon a Paradox Pokemon through its own power, only manifest through byproducts.
