I never noticed until now because I haven't paid an ounce of attention to the anime since 2000, but it's unreal how ridiculously inferior anime Serena is to game Serena. Like what the fuck happened in the design process to cause this?

They made Iris the companion in BW cause Hilda was "too sexy" for a kids show. After realizing how big of a mistake that was they included Serena in XY but made sure to make her design 'child friendly'
