Tell me how Runergius is in this game, haven't caught one yet, but it's one of my favorite Pokemon in the series.

Also, assuming Darkrai's allowed this season, how's Mega Darkrai? Good or just a gimmick? I'm trying to get a feel-out on how it stacks up bulkwise to see how it might do in Champions, assuming Dark Void is totally reworked as a series concept now.

Nta but from my experience he isn’t all that good. Doesn’t hit as hard as you’d like and even with high defense he goes down quick. Plus has that issue where he has to keep flipping between idle animations when moving/attacking which slows him down quite a lot. It’s a struggle to use him online and it ends up just being garchomp food

It was ok. Better than I expected. I used it as an annoying bulky build. I think a lot of it is that people don’t really know what this thing does. Got a lot of kills on Zeraora and Heatran.

It's alright. Last season was better, but mythicals and sub-legendaries are way more tolerable than box legendaries. No Diancie, weirdly enough.

I got the sceptilite and it's the first season I won't "grind" to rank A.
It's not that the season is bad, but the rewards this time just aren't worth it, I have 200+ bottlecaps and more than 30 of each rare pokeball just from playing the dlc regularly, and those rewards are the main reason I always got to rank A

The slightly wider dex this season really didn't seem to change much, likely just the matches I got.
Absol Z still piles bodies, Cerulegde had some good coverage for a lot of common problems and then I swapped the last slot around a lot ending with steelix again.

Being able to actually dodge moves with phantom force on mega Z never stops feeling gud

Scovillain will go back to being straight dogshit in turn-based, too fast for Trick Room too slow for normal use.
It's only good in LZA because speed stat doesn't matter, and its stats combined with Plus Moves are obviously good at landing killsteals or mogging non-tank configurations that have vulnerability to both STAB Grass and STAB Fire, or just straight up killing Absol-Z and Lucario-Z who underestimate it.

Speed stat in LZA only affects move cooldowns, but since PVP is locked at level 50, the full extent of that effect doesn't really manifest, effectively making speed a worthless stat. This is why slow mons like OG Mega Garchomp can actually prosper.
Movement speed is a separate thing, pretty much every Pokemon is identical in mobility by default for balancing reasons but you can boost it using moves like Agility or Geomancy.

I'll tell you my impressions later, I'm dividing my playtime between offline shit like filling the dex and doing the sidequests and online battles, the past few days have been exclusively the former. I probably won't shake up my team that much outside of replacing Sceptile, I doubt the mega being out now will do that much for its usefulness in my team comp.
