They're just variations of Pokemon that were first discovered in Hisui, that's it. You'd think Perrin walking around would prove they're just uncommon at the absolute worst and yet here we are.
There's no basis or official confirmation of any of them going extinct besides maybe Electrode, who probably isn't even organic anyways. The majority of Huisuian forms are just Pokemon adapting to different environment (Lilligant, Goodra, Sneasel, Decidueye) or getting fucked up by Mt. Coronet's nonsense (Typhlosion, whatever the hell is going on with Zoroark).
Hisui wasn't like a million years ago, it was a few hundred tops, you guys gotta use your heads.
