I have infos about the next Pokémon game and its not called Winds and Waves.
Internal name was changed a while ago.
Region is based on Southeast Asia.
Island-focused region with over 40 islands.
Map is around 1.5x the size of SV, spread across islands, sea routes and underwater areas.
Starters are a Grass/Ghost bat, Water/Poison monkey and a Fire/Fairy Malayan bear.
There are two Pika clones similar to Plusle and Minun.
One is Electric/Ice, the other Electric/Fire.
Three regional forms: Torkoal Rock/Normal, Dewgong Water/Fairy and Chatot Grass/Flying
First gym is located directly on the main starting island.
Legendaries are humanoid and bipedal.
The two box legends resemble an old man and an old woman.
The third legendary looks child-like and represents balance.
Pseudo-legendary is Dragon/Bug moth. There is a Mango Pokemon with the ability to reduce speed when enters battle.
No MMO features.Gyms are still in.
Boss Pokémon and Majin Battles exist.
Weather gimmick is tied to Majin Pokémon and an amulet you get from a shrine on a large volcano island.
Weather affects battles, exploration, camps and dungeons.
Dungeons are very large and easy to get lost in.
Pokémon react to the environment and weather.
Camping returns.
You can enter and decorate your tent like Secret Bases.
Cooking system is called Island Dishes and gives temporary buffs like rare encounters and exploration boosts.
Underwater diving is back with multiple underwater caves.
There is at least one Pokémon that only evolves while diving.
Dex is 452 Pokémon total, 92 are new.
DLC is split into two parts.
Part 1 focuses on the third legendary and adds new islands further north.
Part 2 focuses on expanding your hotel and exploration to Hoenn.
You travel to islands south of Hoenn, not the mainland.
You’re technically in Hoenn, but only on separate southern islands, not the main region.
Just sharing what I’ve seen.
