The rules are inherently shaky d when it comes to genwun mons, Even the least loved Gen1 pokemon is more respected by game freak and fans than the average non genwun pokemon. Every non-kanto pokemon out that got a regional was nothing but fodder to game freak and flopped among most fans outside of a small cult following at most
