i dont think hgss needed gb sounds, the feature isnt even that well implemented because the ds couldnt do it one to one so it sounds crappy and it doesnt work in quite a few areas anyway, the game that needed it was oras with its shitty orchestraslop that butchered genuinely every original track and yet its the one without it, if i can offer one concession to bdsp its that they at least understood that they couldnt hold a candle to the original, but by the time it released it should have been an option in the menu from the moment you start the game instead of a key item you get in the fucking postgame

Out of all the tracks HGSS butchered why’d it have to be the Johto wild Pokemon and trainer battle themes? Makes going through Johto so much worse when you constantly have to hear these two tracks.

I love how all the niggers self-report as idiots that never used GB Sounds or played any gen 2 game.
Gamefreak themselves said that they could not recreate 1:1 Gen II music and GB Sounds is just (very lame and gay) approximation of it. It's shit - cheaptuned in shitty way Gen 4 arranges of gen 2 music.

modern game freak would not go out of their way to recreate every single song and then some in order to play them on a ds
granted, they wouldn't need to with modern hardware, but they wouldn't even if they did
