>>58847648I guess I'm in the minority in thinking that the gameplay was far worse in GoD. Shadows weren't great in Colo, sure, but the shadow move mechanics (mostly the type interactions) were incredibly overcentralizing and completely overshadowed the teambuilding/strategy appeal that is integral to a game like this. It was to a point where Purifying a Pokemon did them an active disservice, and just made the game frustrating every time an opponent had one. About halfway through I just stopped catching most mons entirely cause it wasn't worth the trouble.
And of course every other aspect of the game like atmosphere, story, level design and music were all worse, can't see myself ever replaying the game.
