wait a month or two before playin white 2. the midgame retreads a lot of ground from the originals, doing both games back to back will exacerbate the sameness.

even as someone who Tolerates this game, no.
the only things maybe worth doing are catching kyurem, the cynthia fight and elite four rematch, everything else is pointless and has no reward or purpose basically. if you want postgame, just move on to 2

Right... people don't like or critize BW for N and the whole writing (again, regardless if you like it or not), they sure love the game for having a worse map and less post game than predecessors. The story in gen 5 is part of the identity

Only if you want a tiny bit of lore.

Honestly, only 2 of the sages even matter in the long run. The manga is the only pokemon media that tries to differentiate them.
