Sharteens are running rampant here because mods let them, it's one of their if not the most targeted boards because of that. They think they own the fucking place. The board is also small enough to have people recognize the schizo regulars, which leads to people falsely accusing others of being said schizos, which are low-quality and off-topic posts. Which, again, is a moderation problem. I even encountered several anons admitting to being underage, but despite my reports, they never got banned or had their posts deleted. Fucking clownshow board.
And yes, /v/ is basically unusable. It was never good, but it got consistently even worse since 2016 and then took another hit in 2020 when the intenet collectively got even more insufferable cause of covid. I was a regular for over 12 years, but I straight up just stopped going there entirely in 2021 because all it did was make me fuckin miserable.
But I guess that's the thing. /v/ is dogshit despite having surprisingly tight moderation, but /vp/ COULD be pretty good if it was moderated better. But it's not.
