Sword and Shield is when they moved to more rectangular Switch style cases so they designed box legends who take up horizontal space like fucking retards. Luckily the Scarlet and Violet designers were more smart and gave us designs that compliment the case shape

I liked gen 5 but reshiram existing was absolutely not a part of that. zekrom and kyurem were neat, but previous legendries were much more interesting.
