It looks like the intent is to treat mega evolution as if it were a normal evolution. So krabby and slowpoke are both two stage lines and combee (male) evolves into mega beedrill, while combee (female) evolves into vespiquen. I imagine misdreavus is also supposed to evolve into flutter mane here instead of mismagius.
