I’ve played 6 hours of WW. Screencap this. They’re gonna start a weird Pokemon Go campaign at the end of EUIC leading up to Pokemon Day that results in getting a Mysterious Talisman item you hold onto until the game is out.

Story is you’re shipwrecked during summer vacation, found by twin brother & sister who bring you to Professor. Professor is a forgetful old man. Twins are rivals.

Cinta Region. Four big main islands. Infinite procedurally generated islands that change daily (washed up / away by the Forever Storm)

The box legendaries are two dragons that chase each other so fast a storm rages in the ocean. Locals call this the Forever Storm. They look like barongs.

New battle mechanic is called Chirals. Accessible to all Pokemon, but only one in your party at a time can hold the item needed to unlock it. There are four Guardians that protect the islands from the Forever Storm. Pokemon will favour a certain Guardian, which unlocks different moves, abilities, and typing in some cases. When in Chiral Mode, a Pokemon will appear to be shifting / morphing.

Starters are grass pangolin (leafs for scales), water octopus/squid (bubble around head like a diver helmet), fire sunbear (shy, has a hood/lantern).

New boat Pokemon you get to travel from island to island. Many different appearances. I’ve seen 4 so far.

New Pokemon that changes appearance based on game choices. Battles with you during important story battles. Can’t catch until near end game. Appearance is finalized after caught. Tons of differences. No two of this Pokemon will look the same except for the eyes. It wants to be a Guardian but doesn’t fit in.

I’ve only seen one of the Guardians. It was a giant armless monkey with four free-floating stone hands. The scale of battle was massive. Like the Nobles from PLA but far bigger, and much more difficult.

A few other Pokemon I’ve seen: psychic slow lorus, new Rhydon variant, bali starling-like bird.
