The only thing he did was buffing his Lucario, connecting with a very specific special Riolu with stronger aura and trying to give his aura to Mew.

He is yet to get a power where his aura automatically start negating all type of hex such as brain washing, possession, turning into a doll & Mind crush.

That's frustrating part
His first league victory was a village league where none of the participant had a full team, Master Tournament turned out to be a disappointment both in animation & writing department, he didn't had rematch with past character he yet to defeat on PWC , his aura plotline went nowhere and he never caught a single legendary pokemon.

Seriously what the heck were they even doing with Ash for 26 years? Even other protagonist like Yugi and Tyson receive better treatment than him in one season.
