Hell, bitta minor brain damage will actually regress you to the mentality of a 7 year old, you'll be RIGHT in the wheelhouse to just enjoy what they give you.

That'll never be true though lad. The primary audience to DISCUSS it on the internet is 20-somethings, but internet discussions are a HORRIFIC way to judge the popularity of something expressly aimed at 7 year olds. Kinda hard to judge the pulse of the demographic, when they're not allowed to OWN any kind of internet account.

Honestly I kind of like the BDSP icons. Especially since Let's Go and SwSh only updated some of the sprites, mainly final evolutions.

No, because pixel art would require effort, when they can just apply a shader to a model in its default pose at an angle and convert a snapshot of it into a PNG file.
