Why do these even exist? What's the point of blocking low level encounters when my pokemon are level 80? They should make a version that repels all pokemon

It can be used to repel manip for certain encounters, most notably roamers

Super Repels are more cost effective per step but make you reuse them more often and click through more menus and text boxes. Max Repels are more time effcient

yeah but its only a 50 step difference for 200 more each so i feel like the benefits dont outweigh the positives enough especially in the games where it just brings up the message to instantly reapply them

I will assume this is the first pokemon game ever, which all I can say is my condolences
This will help "filtering" out low level encounter so you can run onto higher level mons with a specific level - filter out all level 9 shit and get to a Pinsir level 15 with low encounter much easier -
Also the roaming legendries instead of running into 9 Bidoofs
