Kecleon is the best example of an "industry plant" pokemon
>It debuted a year before latios, latias, and Blaziken
>In its debut episode it basically already had its shiny worked out
>Has a unique ability that changes it's type
>Has the unique ability to turn invisible the first non-legendary to have that ability
>Is a static encounter tied to a unique item like the silph scope
Side note I think it's funny that the Devon corporation wasted time and resources on a device to reveal kecleon meanwhile you can see it's reflection in the water and in-universe you know a kecleon is in front of you because a big red stripe is floating in mid air! When silph made the silph scope it was to identify the only ghost types in Kanto and actual real life ghosts, Devon made the same thing but it identifies a lizard that wasn't that hard to identify to begin with.
>Kecleon got to be the shop owner In pokemon mystery dungeon alongside it's shiny! Oh boy I can't wait to find this cool purple lizard in my game!
