They had a method of just overwhelming you with like 10, 20, 30 Pokemon at a time on screen, and back when Pokemon was new, you didnt know them all by heart like we do today. Everytime these commercials came on, I'd scour quickly to try and identify everything, or see if there was a new Pokemon I didnt know about.
