Reminder that the Gen2's code is hot garbage even after Iwata worked his magic, the best example of it is how the Moon Balls don't function as intended because due to a last-minute itemID table reindexing, they're written to work only on PKMN that evolve by the Ice Heal item instead of a Moon Stone.

Is Dragon STAB even worth using in gen 2? There's no Dragon Claw right? Idk if Stadium 2 has any dragon type enemies but I'd imagine you're better off just throwing out an Ice Beam...

Not much. Dragon-type pre-Gen 4's only benefit was being defensively great. The strongest Dragon move in Gen 2 was Outrage, but that's just a Dragon-type Petal Dance. It also only had 90 BP instead of 120 BP in Gen 4, while only the Dragonite line could learn it. Twister is shit but has a flinch chance, DragonBreath's only benefit is the 30% paralysis chance with its 60 base power.
