Which I think is the point, they weren't going for "here's a slew of celebs everyone knows but it's sus if they actually care about pokémon talking about pokéon" but rather "here's a group of people of people who've experienced different eras of pokémon talking about their favourites from their experiences". Regardless where they grew up, they grew up with pokémon. /vp/ doesn't like things that show how their narrative is misguided however, which is why they seem to be upset there's zoomie scum talking about "nu-gen" shit, when they were only ever around for the "nu-gen" shit to begin with, but still found their way to pokémon all the same.
