I actually didn't like the Super Bowl Pokemon video: This is just another Kanto-marketing spam video, and it only shows Zygarde because they have to sell the game! They need to show all gen Pokemon, not just gen one!

Sinnoh is Kanto for zoomers, if you were introduced to Pokemon with D/P you will most likely have a gen 4 mon as your favorite. Most of the time: starters, giratina, luxray, garchomp and lucario

Motherfucker was b9orn less than 20 years ago and frankly, footballers are the ones most likely to have handheld gaming systems for playing shit while travelling on coaches (Man United squad in the mid-2000's ALL owned PSP's and ALL played SOCOM). And they DID make a big song and dance about XY being the jump to 3D and evolution of the series back in 2013, so I'd absolutely say he played it. He was fucking rich enough to buy and sell his parents by then, let alone rich enough to buy a €200 pokémon machine.
