Like, Indonesia is a very ethnically diverse country, so it is more easy for them to have a variety of races running around than if they did something like India, especially South India. Do you know how much that jeets and white women would complain if they had a bunch of random white NPCs in an South India region? They'd blow a fuse. They can get away with it in white countries because obviously, and Indonesia is so diverse already that no one is likely to care what kind of stuff you throw in. So it makes sense to me. Also TPCi probably has some white Karens on a Japanese green card equivalent that demanded they not be 'Eurocentric.' Not even saying the games will be bad or anything, just trying to say that I think that yes whether you like it or not this mindset played into it a bit.
