They're better than PLA's sidequests, but they need improvement.
The side mission in OP was frustrating. The battle was good, but rolling the Hyperscape casino for a chance at catching the Farfetch'd needed was annoying.

I did like a few that felt like actually odd jobs you might need to do in a pokemon world, like helping the scyther learn new slashes for haircuts, or getting the trubbish away from the cafe
