The most likely way an official Pokémon dating game would be, is romancing the Pokémon with the player being a Pokémon. Or just generally shipping Pokémon together but without the player being involved.

Honestly, it's not impossible, just not something they feel the need to make.

Game Freak shot down that fujobait movie TPC wanted to make because they don't give a fuck about human characters if they aren't involved with pokemon, they felt like the focus was too much on humans and that the bonds between humans and pokemon were more interesting than between humans.
