>>58924054100% agree, a flaw is a flaw, but I can still have fun with most games besides that. Being subject to the autistic wombo combo of being a fan of both Pokémon and Sonic, if I couldn't have fun playing bad games, I'd be perpetually miserable. I can honestly say I enjoy playing every main series Pokémon game, but I'm not going to pretend any of them are perfect paragons of quality.
>>58924073>I've got reason to believe most bad opinions we see are someone else's opinion and retards parroting them without having played the game. It's the content machine that does it. Streamers and youtubers get more attention and therefore money by being negative, mainstream media has known this since the beginning, but it's easier to not interact with it than it is in online niches. It's precisely why you see video thumbnails with little more than a character looking sad or shocked and "IT'S BAD".
There are legitimate critiques of the games they "review", but they hyperbolize flaws and negative aspects to drive up engagement. People see these videos, decide the game is shit from that video alone, and parrot an opinion that isn't theirs when asked why they don't like it. "Just let people enjoy things" went from being a legitimate "live and let live" attitude to something only braindead shills or paypigs would say.
