Remaking a remake is kinda crazy specifically, but I guess remaking RBY is equally tired at this point. At least its a gen 3 game.
I’ve been itching to play a pokemon, so I guess I’ll at least wait and see.

Given it wasn't even mentioned in the Teraleak I have my doubts, but as far as just putting it on Nintendo Online they wouldn't need to put any internal effort into it so that's the only thing I would expect. I expect Gen 10 news and nothing else. Next year I expect Gen 10 DLC and Legends Galar unless it got canceled with maybe a hint at whatever Project Seed is unless it also got super canceled (and even if it didn't I wouldn't expect it).

Given how Pokopia of all things was mentioned in the Teraleak, unfortunately it seems like that's about it aside from a potential Nintendo Online drop of some Pokemon games. The GameCube titles were announced and not followed up on which is a bit odd, so maybe we'll see them then.

Reminder that despite being remade over and over, the onlt way to play Kanto with the spec/phys split is LGPE. A remake would legitimately bring something new to the game.

We had Pokemon Legends: Galaxy and Pokemon Legends: (somewhat) Flare already, so this doesnt seem impossible.

Will not happen.
Due to changes in law and their own internal design philosophy, GF would need to rework both game corner and safari zone + FRLG may or may not be the most pirated game in history of gaming.
GF may be retarded, but they are also lazy and greedy. Expecting them to do extra work for nothing is silly.
They may experiment with Kantoooo and goung back to 2d, but it will be a new game.

Except the people who very much care if one region's game performance is arbitrarily hampered by being restricted to adults, when their entire series is focused on children, you retard fuck. They cut the game corner, rather than make two versions of the game, one for japan and america and one for europe. You're WHOLLY retarded if you think they're going to release it in some places and not others. It's going to be a nice, rule-friendly remake, to ensure a uniform presentation to the entire world.

It is going to be a 1:1 remake of FRLG by ILCA, probably on the same engine as BDSP. Its lazy but releasing paid ROMs of FRLG is lazier.

I'm skeptical of any major projects that weren't mentioned in the teraleak development roadmap. I mean I know GF has short dev cycles, but there would likely be at least a conceptual outline. so, I could see a re-release, but not a full blown remake. seems pretty soon to make another remake after they just did LGPE not that long ago too.

Balatro "got around it" by not being gambling, but using the rules of blackjack as a rolling method. That's just how NSO works. They announced a bunch of GameCube games on the reveal trailer without any dates, and then shadowdropped them suddenly even couple of months. Fire Emblem was only released last month and Mario Sunshine is still missing in action.

I wouldn't call it impossible since BDSP wasn't initially planned and then had a very quick two year dev cycle. But TPC also didn't like how BDSP turned out so they won't want a repeat. That said if it is just literally FRLG stuck on a cart like they did for the English ROM of the first Fire Emblem, then that could get away with a super quick development.
