pokemon games are dogshit and the franchise is handled like crap by tpc and lamefreak, BUT, it has the best artstyle and concept
pokemon designs are hard carrying this franchise and the idea of young kids going on an adventure to collect, train, battle monsters and fight an evil organization are what make it so good
other monster tamers should just copy this formula
the closest i can think of is roco kingdom, but it has that whole fantasy setting and magical school thing (like hogwarts) going on instead of pokemon's worldbuilding
