It really is. As someone who never really played Platinum, and is just now playing for the first time because I want to make a Gen 4 living dex (currently in Veilstone, gambling my life away to get two TMs for my team), it's really making me love Sinnoh as much as I did when I played it for the first time, even if the early game is miserable as all hell.

either you're trying too hard or not hard enough. hgss does have some genuine flaws that actually do come up during a playthrough, but no one ever talks about them because the people that notice them are the ones that actually played the game, and since the game rules there's never much of a need for us to point out that tm availability for example is a genuine issue
